Eating yogurt can prevent and help treat constant yeast infections. Live cultures, called acidophilus, are a beneficial bacteria proven to treat and prevent yeast infections.
Drinking cranberry juice can also help prevent and treat constant yeast infections. Don’t drink the juices high in sugar, stick to unsweetened cranberry juice. By drinking an 8 oz. cranberry juice every day, you can keep yeast infections away.
3. Prevent Constant Yeast Infections: Avoid Bubble Baths and Harsh Soaps
It’s okay to take baths, just be aware of the soap you are using in your bathtub. There are harsh soaps out there that can deteriate the protective barrier in your vagina, making it more prone to infections. Some soaps have harsh chemicals that can unbalance the PH level of your vagina. Read the ingredients and make sure there not filled with non organic contents, high perfumes, and artificial ingredients.
Did you know that the natural smell of your vagina is a healthy sign? Many women aren’t comfortable with their natural smell but avoid douching, and using femine hygiene sprays. Douching washes away the healthy bacteria found in your vagina, making it easier for yeast infection to spread.
4. Prevent Constant Yeast Infections: Sleep in the Nude
This may be one of the simplest way to prevent a yeast infection. Sleeping naked allows your body to “breathe”. After a long day of sweating and moisture in your nether regions, sleeping nude can help prevent a yeast infection from growing. Yeast loves to grow in warm, dark and moist places, so by sleeping nude, you can decrease the chances of a yeast infection from occurring.
All in all, in order to prevent constant yeast infections from occurring, be aware of what you put your body through. Think of the clothes you wear, the foods and drink your consuming and the harsh soaps you wash your body with. It doesn’t mean you have to make all sorts of changes into your life. Just make these few changes I mentioned above and pretty soon you can live the life you want, without the constant itch of a yeast infection!
